Classroom Giggles (Two)

Scenes like this are part of the reason I quit teaching. This was NOT my class by the way.

Here's my classroom giggles story for your collection, but it only works if you know Hebrew.

The children had to describe themselves in English, and I had them ask me for words they needed, and I wrote them on the board in English.

So one of them wanted to know how to say שיער חלק, so I wrote on the board:

ישר / חלק = straight.

And then I heard someone from the back of the room say, "But I thought straight meant... Nevermind..."

That's hilarious, sharon! I don't know Hebrew, so I made my own translation. I still think I kinda get it... :)

To explain for those who don't speak Hebrew, the girl wanted to know how to say "straight hair".
