It's official. The holidays are over. I hope that everyone had a good time - whatever you were celebrating.

This is a pile of Christmas trees on New Years Eve at a "convenience center" that my mom and I passed between Rock Hill and York, South Carolina. I made her turn around and pull over to take this shot!

I sure hope those trees are going to get recycled. A pharm company in canada needs the trees so they can extract a chemical in the needles to make vaccine against bird flu. Read here

Adam: I am not sure what they were going to do with the trees. I am hoping that they were going to be recycled in some way too.

Anon: Yeah, I thought that it was a sad picture too. But it kind of made me happy thinking about all the fun that was had collectively with these trees. It's also helped me get a bigger pitcure on all of the waste we generate during the holidays.
